It is not a secret that we all, at some point of our lives, wanted to look fit and attractive. One of the key aspects of that is our height. If your parents are high, would you also be considered high? Not necessarily. However, with an adequate diet, you can increase your height.

Overall, there are six groups of nutrients that can provide you with a healthy body. Including them in the diet we have will improve our chances to achieve the full growth potential.

Water-soluble vitamins

These vitamins generally come from fruit and vegetables, and are transported by water.

Minerals

Minerals improve bodies ability for the maximum height. The bones consist of a large amount of minerals and without it, they will stop growing. The most important minerals are calcium and phosphorous.

Proteins

Protein helps our body grow. Two types of proteins are the complete and the incomplete proteins.

A complete protein contains essential amino acids that are needed for the main body functions.

An incomplete protein does not contain complete amino acid and it should associate with other proteins so that it can be useful.

Amino acids

Most common amino acids are: L-lysine, amino acid arginine, tyrosine, folic acid, taurine.

Fats

There are two kinds of fats that we import into our bodies: saturated fats and unsaturated fats. Saturated fats are very harmful and unhealthy. These are mostly found in animal products. Unsaturated are less unhealthy, and will improve our growth.

On the other side, when it comes to “dont’s”, in relation to our diet, the biggest obstacle for us to grow higher include alcohol, caffeine and cigarette consumption. Apart from stunting our growth, these habits are not very healthy an we should avoid developing them, in order to have a better life quality.

In order to grow taller faster, you must follow these steps, and the results should come in no time.

• Enough rest
• Exercises for growing taller on a daily bases
• Adequate nutrition

Body has large number of processes taking place in it every day, and these processes must work for a mutual benefit, and not against it.
